Kompong Phluk
Fishing village called Kompong phluk is the most beautiful water village in siem reap. this is where we can explore the village to see how these thousands family survive in water. thier house style, traffic and work are interesting. Their houses are on still few meters high from water in rainy season and 10 meter high from the water in dry season. This village is in Tonle Sap lake, The biggest fresh water lake in southeast Asia, about 3000 square kilometer. People here are all fisherman and they feed the whole Siem Reap people with their fish. This village is where we can see beautiful sunset over the lake.
Itinerary
Leave from hotel at 8 30 am after your break fast then we go to buy temple ticket and and to temple Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom complex. Lunch break at about 12 30pm near the temple. After lunch we go to Taprom temple. and around 3 pm we head to the Kompong Plok Fishing village. We will take boat to explore this village and then we can wait for the sunset few over the lake.
