Day 2 : Kulen mountan, Banteay Srey temple
Kulen Mountain
This mountain origionally named Mahendra as a Hindu Shiva mountain. It was the capital of Cambodia in the year 800s before moving to Yasotarabora( Angkor wat area).Here it has beautiful waterfall we can swim in as holy water. there are thousands of lingas sculpture under the river for holy water. In 16 century a Cambodian Buddist king sculptured a big reclining Buddha on a big rock. Kulen mountain has become the most secret mountain to worship for Cambodian people due to its holy water and those sculpture and also the most famous spot for their family picnic.
Banteay Srey
The pink stone temple built in tenth century king’s adviser for the king honor as a Hindu temple. The temple is well known as the lady temple. The temple is one of the most beautiful for its pink color and details sculpture further more the lady sculpture known as Apsara looks so beautiful .
Itinerary
Day one: as described in the Angkor Wat tour package
Second day: leave from hotel at 8 30 am after your breakfast and buy the ticket for this mountain( 20$/person) then we drive for 1 hour and half to get to the spot. we will visit on the top about 2 hours and depends on if you swim will be bit longer. after this mountain we will have lunch break and then head to Banteay srey temple. The tour might finish about 4pm.
Include: Guide, car, water
Exclude: Temple ticket( 62USD/person, 3days ticket), mountain ticket( 20$/person) and your own lunch.
